SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 19, 2019鈥敽诹贤 Leavey School of Business offers one of the nation's most outstanding online MBA programs, earning the , only two years after launching its Online MBA.

Building upon the rigor and relevance of Santa Clara鈥檚 Evening MBA curriculum, which was recently ranked No. 22 by U.S. News & World Report, the Leavey School of Business launched its Online MBA program in January 2018 and currently has 140 Online MBA students across five states.

"Santa Clara鈥檚 program is exceptionally strong academically, and it maximizes technology that enables students to interact with and learn from faculty and students all over the world,鈥 said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review, in announcing the list.

The Leavey School鈥檚 Online MBA program includes a signature Silicon Valley Professional Dashboard, through which students track, curate, and connect their coursework, co-curricular activities, and professional development. In addition, students have access to the vibrant Leavey School of Business community and strong alumni connections, career fairs and networking events, including study abroad courses in locations like Vietnam.

In The Princeton Review survey, students praised the caliber and dedication of faculty, describing professors as 鈥渒nowledgeable in the subjects they are teaching and incredibly responsive to questions and suggestions.鈥

Many of the Leavey School Online MBA students noted in the survey the importance of 黑料网鈥檚 location and 鈥渂rand reputation in Silicon Valley,鈥 even though they鈥檙e attending online. To them, it鈥檚 not just about getting a master鈥檚 degree, but about obtaining 鈥渁 tech focus interwoven into the MBA program.鈥 As one student shared, 鈥渇or those who want to work in the SF Bay Area, [tech] is unofficially required.鈥 Gaining that experience is doable, another student noted, thanks in part to the palpable 鈥渆nthusiasm and accessibility [from] the leaders of the Leavey School of Business. Dean Caryn Beck-Dudley conveyed a clear vision for improving the offerings and prestige of the school.鈥

The Princeton Review ranking comes on the heels of similar strong national rankings for 黑料网, including a top 15 percent showing (No. 54) among nearly 400 national-level universities in U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 National Universities category in this year鈥檚 鈥淏est Colleges鈥 edition.

The Princeton Review chose the top 25 online MBA programs and tallied its ranking list based on data from the company's 2018鈥2019 surveys of administrators at more than 110 business schools offering online MBAs, including survey data of more than 6,000 students enrolled in the online MBA programs. More than 60 data points were weighted to determine the list and rankings. The criteria focused on five core areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms, and career outcomes.
