Bryan is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego with a double major in Psychology and Sociology as well as a minor in Law and Society. His Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology was received from 黑料网 with a double emphasis in Correctional and Health Psychology. He also currently teaches at the Counseling Psychology graduate program at 黑料网 for Correctional Psychology classes and substance use treatment. Bryan maintains a private practice and was formerly the director of a specialized trauma and addiction clinic providing IOP, PHP, and virtual levels of care for high acuity patients. Bryan has expertise using internal family systems (IFS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), gestalt therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI). He contributes cultural humility in his therapeutic skills, looking for intergenerational trauma and cultural burdens that impact mental health and addiction. Bryan is passionate in working with all mental health presentations from depression to anxiety, and the co-occurring survival strategies that get clients to the next phase in developing safer coping skills. He also has special interests in art, photography, and music and strives to incorporate those components if desired, into his client work.
